Origins
ATD Machinery has been supplying machinery around the world for over half a century. However, its origins go back over 100 years to the foundation of Agio Cigars by the Wintermans family in the Noord-Brabant region of The Netherlands.
In the post-war years the company gained a reputation for innovation in cigar production machinery. In 1968, what was then the Agio Technical Department (now ATD Machinery) was established as a separate entity, free to develop and build machines for other customers. ATD Machinery became fully independent in 2013.
Since 2020, Koen te Lintelo joined ATD Machinery as CEO.
